After 15 years of friendship filled with creativity, concerts and original performances, the greatest wish from Caroline and Amir was to play in a special venue that would highlight the many nuances of the daff, tabla, dahola, hana and req.
Duo Daff was recorded in a church in July 2024.
The resonance, energy, and warm colours allowed the musicians to create the music they have carried in her hearts and souls for so long.
Spurred on by a rhythm, a sound, an atmosphere, an imagination that gives rise to a dancing body, the pieces followed on from one another, each one different from the next.
